“I have many loves and fly fishing is one of them; it brings peace and harmony to my being, which I can then pass on to others.”
~ Sue Kreutzer
I started fly fishing in the year 2000 and have been “hooked” ever since. It has become a great passion of mine. Like many fly fishing fanatics, I have collected a variety of fly fishing equipment and have become a fly “junkie”. You can never have too many flies! I enjoy exploring new areas and waters to fish. It is a thrill to fly fish for all types of fish… trout, steelhead, smallmouth and largemouth bass, northern pike, muskie, and bluegill. I have been fly fishing on various waters in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Montana, Wyoming, and Arkansas.
My experience includes being an International Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Casting Instructor, organizing and running women’s fly fishing clinics and retreats, providing fly tying lessons, and being a casting instructor at the Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo in Minneapolis. I have been involved with Casting for Recovery as a Fly Fishing Instructor as well as a River Helper and am also a Wisconsin DNR Fishing Mentor.
Organizations that I belong to include the International Federation of Fly Fishers as a lifetime member, and I am a member of the Arrowhead Fly Fishers in Duluth, MN. I believe that promoting the sport of fly fishing and being good stewards of our natural resources is important.
I absolutely love the sport of fly fishing and being in the outdoors. It is my pleasure to share and teach my passion.
